The Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine, with the support of the Veterinary Department, the Office of Research and Graduate Studies of the Universidade Federal de Viçosa and CAPES, invites graduate students to join us for the High Quality School: One Health, One World, at Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Minas Gerais, from November 6th to 14th, 2017.
The High Quality School is a type of academic activity in which renowned professors and researchers from all over the world are invited to contribute with the development of graduate students, in this case, on the subject One Health. Thus, participants will have the opportunity to attend classes to update and deepen their knowledge on the subject, followed by studies, discussion and development of seminars; everything supervised by the invited professors.
As One Health is a well-known interdisciplinary concept in which health is perceived and obtained through interactions between humans, animals and the environment, we at the Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine open this opportunity not only for our students, but for all students from Graduate Programs in the country. Considering the topics to be addressed during EAE – One Health, One World, graduate students and professionals from different fields may participate: Nutrition, Animal Biology, Agricultural Microbiology, Food Science and Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Animal Science, Medicine and Health Sciences in general.
